OptixScout.com is owned and operated by L&R. Neither Scout^TM or L&R are endorsed, affiliated or owned by The Joint Commission, or any other accrediting body. L&R does not warranty or guarantee any compliance survey results. Scout is designed only for those healthcare facilities who subscribe to The Joint Commission’s Hospital Accreditation Standards.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Contact forms

If you complete a contact form or schedule a meeting with us, your contact information is sent to our team in order to conduct business with you. At certain times we may add this information into 3rd-party provided services such as CRMs and Email management tools, however we will never release or sell your information to a 3rd party for the purposes of contacting you in any way not associated with L&R and/or your business relationship with us.

Cookies & Analytics

Our site utilizes cookies and certain analytics software such as Google Analytics for tracking activity such as logins, comments, completing contact forms and measuring your interaction with this site and other sites owned by L&R. We do not sell this information with 3rd parties. The data collected with these cookies is personally identifiable information about you or your individual activity on our site.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
